clearMDM Merge Rollback
This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to use the Merge Rollback Feature within a Master Record. The Attribute Group Lineage within the Master Record provides a Merge Result link. Clicking on this link takes you to the Merge Result page. This feature is particularly useful when testing, or when the result for the given Matched and Merged Group requires undoing and returning to its original state.
Follow these steps to use the Merge Result Rollback.
- Either create or Select a Master Record that has matched and merged with Source Records.
- Expand the Attribute Group Lineage, to display the Merge Result Link.
- Click on the Merge Result you wish to rollback.
- The Merge Result page is displayed. Click on the Rollback button.
- The Rollback popup is displayed (as below).
- Click on the Next button.
- The Merge Result Rollback popup displays a summary.
- Click on the Finish Button.
The Merge Result has been Rolled back to it’s original state.
